AuraSkills-Bridge Introduction

The AuraSkills-Bridge provides deep integration with the AuraSkills plugin, allowing server administrators to create sophisticated skill-based progression systems, custom abilities, and dynamic gameplay mechanics through Typewriter.

Status: This extension is currently in invite-only beta. Apply for early access to help test and improve the extension.

What is AuraSkills? AuraSkills (formerly Aurelium Skills) is a popular skills and leveling plugin that adds RPG-like skill progression to Minecraft servers.

What is AuraSkills-Bridge?

AuraSkills-Bridge bridges Typewriter’s powerful event system with AuraSkills’ comprehensive skill framework, enabling:

  • Custom XP Manipulation: Grant, remove, or modify skill XP through Typewriter entries
  • Skill-Based Triggers: Create events that trigger based on skill levels and milestones
  • Custom Abilities: Design unique abilities that activate based on skill progression
  • Dynamic Modifiers: Apply temporary or permanent stat modifiers
  • Skill-Gated Content: Lock content behind specific skill requirements

1. Change or set Skill XP

The AuraSkills-Bridge will provide the most comprehensive skill system integration available, allowing you to create deep, engaging progression systems that keep players invested in your server for the long term. This extension is designed to hook into AuraSkills’ existing systems, so you can leverage its powerful features in your Typewriter webpanel. However, to create custom skills, abilities, stats and more, you will need to use the AuraSkills-Composer extension, which is currently in development.
